2021 Summer Camps
Play Makers: First Stages Camp!
June 7 - July 2 (4 weeks)
When: Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Grades: K -12
Cost: $80
Camp participants will receive instruction in acting, improvisation, stage movement, musical theatre, dance, voice, and audition prep. Students will perform a virtual showcase for invited friends and family during the last week of camp.
The fee includes a daily snack, camp t-shirt, and additional camp supplies.Note: Please bring your own lunch and wear movable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Daily temperature checks and masks are required.
Alice in Wonderland Camp
Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Adapted for the stage by Jonathan Golembiecki
July 5 - July 30 (4 weeks)
When: Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Performance Dates: July 22 - 25
Grades: K -12
Cost: $80
Want to be a part of Shawnee’s professional production of Alice in Wonderland? Want to work with professional directors, choreographers and actors? Then come explore the magic of theatre! Students will perform in Shawnee’s professional production of Alice in Wonderland.
Students must attend every rehearsal and performance. If students have conflicts please contact us at shawneetheatre@gmail.com prior to enrolling. Unexcused absences may result in dismissal from the production. All students will receive a professional acting credit for their participation.

Our youth camps give young performers as young as kindergarten and as old as high school the opportunity to learn the basics of theatre from industry professionals, perform on stage and have a blast while learning the ropes of what it takes to work in the theatre.
