The Shawnee was a blessing and a transformative experience! It provided me with an ideal environment to do what I love everyday. I worked with a company of committed, highly talented actors. We bonded quickly, growing together with every new production.
I also stretched myself further working on Shawnee productions, which vary between high-energy, fall-on-the-floor, comedic romps like The Odd Couple and The Foreigner, and masterpieces of the American Theatrical canon, such as Our Town. The Shawnee audience is incredibly supportive and kind, packing the house on opening night and, many times inviting the company over for a meal.
Working at the Shawnee was one of the best things I ever did for myself, and my art. I would recommend a summer in Bloomfield to anyone!
