Laura Young - Children's Theatre Director
Laura is very excited to be teaming up with Shawnee Theatre for their 49th season. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from IU Jacobs School of Music in 2007 where she also studied theatre, piano, and voice, and returned home to Bloomfield this year as the K-12 vocal music and theatre arts teacher. At Shawnee, she has been seen in Little Shop of Horrors, and this season is heading up the Godspell chorus, directing the Teen Workshop, and doing whatever else needs her aid. She is very thankful to have the opportunity to work with such a fantastic crew and looks forward to further building a bridge between the theatre and our schools.
