So you want to become a part of the magic! Well, Shawnee wouldn't be the same without all of its great sponsors. Below are some ways you can contribute.
Sponsor the Entire 2010 Season: $10,000
By sponsoring the entire Shawnee season you are partnering with Greene County's premiere arts organization. As a season sponsor your contribution helps relieve the Shawnee's financial burdens and enables us to fly to new heights. You are an enormous part of bringing top notch theatre to a top notch community. Your contribution not only serves the theatre artists at Shawnee, but the entire state.
As a Show Sponsor your name, or your companies name, appears on all printed material related to the show as well as any print advertisement and is featured as a link on our web page. The sponsor will be honored on the opening night of the season with a gift commemorating their generosity. The Sponsor will also be mentioned during every curtain speech of the entire season and will have their name featured in the Shawnee Lobby. The sponsor will be invited to attend open rehearsals for any production of the season to see the inner working of the Shawnee theatre as well as being treated to a dinner with the Shawnee's Producing Artistic Director. As a lasting tribute to your generosity we will re-furbish a theatreseat and permanently add a brass plaque, engraved with your name, to the back of the seat. In addition your name will be added to our Honorary Theatre Seating Billboard in the Lobby. We may even let you play Hamlet...
We estimate that show sponsors will receive 5,000 visual exposures in our program, over 10,000 on our website, 6,000 exposures in our lobby display, innumerable exposures via local print media as well as having their name mentioned in curtain speeches to audiences which add can add up to 6,000 direct exposures.
Sponsor a Show: $2,000-$4,000
By sponsoring a show in the Shawnee's 2009 Season you help everything happen, on and off the stage. Not only are you helping to bring top-notch theatre to Greene County, but you are also providing invaluable opportunities to up and coming entertainers from around the country. Countless actors, designers and directors from the Shawnee Theatre go on to work in Hollywood and Broadway, and it all starts on our modest stage.

Sponsor an Actor: $750-$2000
By sponsoring an actor you get to say, "I helped them get here" when you see them step out on stage. Your generous contribution helps us compete with other summer theatres to bring the very best to the Shawnee. John Belushi would of never been able to work at the Shawnee without a generous community sponsor.
As an Actor Sponsor your name will be featured next to that actor's name as their sponsor in the 2009 Shawnee program. You will also be invited to one open rehearsal to watch this actor do their workup close.
As an actor sponsor you will receive over 5,000 visual exposures in our program.
Sponsor an Intern: $500
By sponsoring an interning company member you are giving a young and upcoming star a chance to shine. This allows us to hire undergraduate and even high school students who want to learn more about professional theatre.
As an Intern Sponsor your name will be featured next to the intern's name in Shawnee's 2009 program. We estimate that intern sponsors will receive over 5,000 visual exposures in our program.
More Substantial Commitments
Donations, corporate sponsorship (at various levels), and other commitments are often negotiated by the Business Manager. If you'd like to make a commitment on this level, please give the office a call at 812-384-3559.
